'Iceberg' is the most popular white climbing rose for very good reason. It produces masses of shapely, fully double white blooms in airy clusters set against a foil of slightly toothed, glossy deep green leaves. The flowers erupt from attractive pink-tinged buds between July and October, bringing a delicious sweet scent to your garden that carries well in the breeze. The flowers maintain their colour exceptionally well and don't turn brown in the heat like other white roses. This is the climbing form of the white floribunda by the same name. Its vigorous branching growth habit makes it perfect for clothing a wall, large arch, arbour or fence.

Reaching up to 4.5 metres tall, it's also large enough to cover an unsightly shed or outbuilding if needed too. It grows best in a sunny spot in a moist yet free draining soil and will thrive on clay providing the ground does not lie wet. Plant it in plenty of space and prune lightly in winter to encourage a plentiful display of blooms and help keep diseases and common rose problems such as blackspot and mildew at bay. We'd also recommend dead heading fading blooms immediately to encourage it to produce a second flush of flowers.
